For 30 years now, we have been pioneers in building an ecosystem, or perhaps we should say an 𝗢𝗞-system, that covers every facet of the life of certain man-made products. 

In 1995, with OK compost 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟,OK biodegradable 𝗦𝗢𝗜𝗟, and OK biodegradable 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥, we were the first to certify compostable and biodegradable products.

Secondly, in 2003, by publishing OK compost 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘, the very first specification for home composting, which served as the basis for several standards.

And then in 2009, with the launch of OK biobased, the first certification of biobased carbon content.

Next in 2015, with OK biodegradable 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗘, and in 2021, with OK recycled, which aims to integrate recycled materials into the production chain.

And finally, in 2025, with OK renewable, which will make it possible to declare, under a single logo, the share of renewable materials in a finished product.

 

This completes the loop, from the origin of the material to its end-of-life treatment.
